SummerSlam 2025 continued its fast-paced start with Match 2 of the night featuring Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss taking on the reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez of Judgment Day.
The champions came in confident and it showed. Perez and Rodriguez controlled much of the early action, taking advantage of their strong chemistry and experience as a team. Charlotte and Alexa, despite their star power, struggled to get on the same page early in the match. A miscommunication between the two even led to Alexa accidentally striking Charlotte, frustrating both competitors.
But the tides turned when Charlotte delivered a perfectly timed Natural Selection to Raquel. The shift in momentum gave Alexa the opening she needed. With Perez left alone in the ring, Bliss hit Sister Abigail and scored the pinfall—securing the upset and crowning new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

While they may not be a well-oiled unit just yet, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair proved that star power and grit can get the job done. Whether this pairing has long-term potential remains to be seen, but for now, they stand tall as the new champions.
