Naomi Retains WWE Women’s Title in Epic Triple Threat at SummerSlam Night Two

Night Two of SummerSlam kicked off with a triple threat for the WWE Women’s Championship: Naomi defending her title against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Naomi’s entrance was a moment in itself, with her father playing guitar as she made her way to the ring. The energy in the arena was electric, and from the start, it felt like this match was destined to be something special.

Naomi had control early, showing off her athleticism and confidence as champion. The chemistry between all three women was undeniable. Once the crowd broke into “This is awesome” chants, it was clear the WWE made the right choice to open the night with this bout.

At one point, it looked like Naomi had it in the bag after hitting Rhea with a split-legged moonsault. Just as she went for the pin, Iyo came flying in with a moonsault of her own to break it up. The action was nonstop.

Rhea Ripley managed to hit the Riptide on Naomi, but Iyo once again interrupted the count. With Naomi down and out, it came down to a tense face-off between Rhea and Iyo. The two traded stiff shots before Rhea caught Iyo on the top rope and delivered a devastating Riptide from the top turnbuckle.

Just when it seemed like Rhea had the win, Naomi snuck back in, catching Rhea off guard with a small package. One… two… three. Naomi retained the title in dramatic fashion, proving once again why she’s at the top of the women’s division.
