The second match of SummerSlam Night Two was absolute chaos in the best way. A six-team Tables, Ladders & Chairs match featuring The Street Profits, DIY, Motor City Machine Guns, Fraxiom, Andrade & Rey Fenix, and the reigning champions, The Wyatt Sicks.
The match kicked off with all five challengers immediately targeting The Wyatt Sicks, trying to take out the most dominant team in the division. From the jump, it was fast-paced, wild, and unpredictable. Fraxiom and the Motor City Machine Guns flew through the air with reckless abandon, delivering jaw-dropping spots that had fans out of their seats.
In a special nod to history, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz were seated front row in honor of the 25th anniversary of the original TLC match they helped make legendary alongside Edge and Christian.
The madness hit another level when Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano’s wife, tried to climb the ladder to help DIY secure the belts. The crowd gasped as she fell from the top and crashed onto a ladder below.
Just when it looked like the Street Profits might grab the gold, Erick Rowan stormed in to stop them, tipping the ladder and clearing the way. Bodies were everywhere, ladders were mangled, and tables shattered, but in the end, the numbers game favored The Wyatt Sicks.
The champions retained in one of the wildest, most high-flying TLC matches we’ve seen in years—an instant classic that honored the legacy of the stipulation while ushering in a new generation of chaos.
