Becky Lynch Retains After Bayley Accidentally Costs Lyra Valkyria the Match

SummerSlam Night Two continued with a brutal showdown for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, as Lyra Valkyria challenged “The Man” Becky Lynch.

Lyra came out strong, dominating the early portion of the match with crisp strikes and fast-paced offense. But once the fight spilled outside the ring, Becky turned the tide. A vicious kendo stick shot shifted the momentum, and from there, Becky was in full control.

In a shocking moment, Becky pulled a toolbox from beneath the ring and found zip ties. She tied Lyra’s hands to the ring post, leaving her defenseless as Becky landed repeated kendo stick shots to her midsection.

Eventually, Lyra broke free and made a desperate comeback. She delivered her Night Wing finisher off the steel steps onto the floor, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Just when it looked like Lyra had a shot at pulling off the upset, Becky reached for a crowbar.

That’s when Bayley ran down to stop her. The distraction escalated into a brawl between Bayley and Becky, but Lyra seized the moment and flew in with a leg drop off the top rope, putting Becky through a table.

In the final moments, Bayley tried to finish Becky with a chain-wrapped punch, but accidentally struck Lyra instead. Becky immediately capitalized, planting Lyra with the Manhandle Slam for the win.

Becky Lynch retained the Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a chaotic, weapons-filled match that was equal parts ruthless and unforgettable.
